The CΛNDΛS (/tʃʌndʌs/) Creative Company is a diversified local cooperative film and literature Academy based in Brunei Darussalam. Established in 2012 by Syukri R. Jumin, the Academy plans to operate a network of branded entertainment and literature based businesses including the CΛNDΛS International Film Festival, CΛNDΛS Literary Festival, CΛNDΛS Cinema & CΛNDΛS Films, a film distribution initiative.
The Academy also has a strategic partnership with the UBD|CΛNDΛS Creative Arts Campus to help educate the public to appreciate the creative arts as an integral part of Brunei’s culture and society.

CANDAS MISSIONS
- Provide both the auteur and authors with a distinctive launchpad to expand the audience for their works and to broaden the access point for consumers to experience independent film and literature.
- Help both filmmakers and writers reach the broadest possible audience, enable the creative arts community and the general public to experience the power of cinema and literature and to promote Brunei Darussalam as a major creative arts center. The Academy also promotes contacts between industry professionals to assist in the development of the Bruneian Motion Pictures industry.
